Breast Ultrasound Screening
Washington Mobile Ultrasound offers self-pay breast ultrasound screening, brought to you — at a private appointment, or at a screening day hosted by a local clinic, employer, or wellness business. Screenings are performed by credentialed sonographers (RDMS/RVT/RDCS) and read by board-certified radiologists, with your final report ready within 24 hours.
There is no radiation and no compression. The scan covers both breasts and the underarm area.
Where we offer breast screening
We offer mobile breast ultrasound screening across Olympia, Tacoma, Lakewood, Lacey, Centralia, Seattle, and Bellevue. Screenings are performed in a private room — at your home, or at a host site — with no patient-facing clinic location.
Who screening is for
Many women choose supplemental breast ultrasound screening alongside their regular mammograms — for example, women with dense breast tissue, a family history of breast cancer, or breast implants, or anyone who wants an additional screening between mammograms. Talk with your physician about the screening plan that fits you.
Breast ultrasound screening is supplemental. It does not replace mammograms, and a normal screening result does not rule out cancer.
How it works
- Book directly with us. Book online or call (360) 615-3142. You do not need a referral from your own doctor.
- Quick eligibility check. An order is required for screening, so we verify that you qualify.
- Our physician provides the order. Every screening is reviewed and ordered by our physician before your scan.
- Your screening scan. A credentialed sonographer performs the ultrasound — both breasts and the underarm area.
- Your report within 24 hours. Your final report is emailed to you so you can share it with your physician, or you can view it in the EHR. If anything needs follow-up, your report will say so — please follow up with your physician promptly. Diagnostic breast workups belong at a facility that also offers mammography, so everything you need can be done in one place; we do not perform diagnostic breast workups.
Have a lump or other symptoms?
A lump, pain, discharge, or skin change is not a screening case — it needs a diagnostic workup, and that workup belongs at a facility that also offers mammography, so everything can be done in one place. Please see your provider, who can refer you to a breast imaging center. We do not perform diagnostic breast workups.
Host a breast screening day
Employers, clinics, and wellness hosts: we can bring a screening day to your location. We supply the equipment and credentialed sonographers; your members or patients book private appointments, and each person receives her final report within 24 hours. You provide a private room — we handle the rest. Call (360) 615-3142 to plan a day.

No referral from your own doctor is needed — you can book directly with us. An order is required for the screening, and our physician provides it after a quick eligibility check.
How do I get my results?
